The real estate company Zome earned more than 27 million euros in 2022, with an increase of 11.1% compared to the same period last year. The number of transactions has stabilized, but the median property value has increased, driving the increase in income
The real estate company Zome earned 11.1% more in 2022 compared to the previous year, raising revenue to 27.5 million euros, the company announced in a statement.
The volume of transactions carried out last year by the national real estate company reached 1,034 million euros, 35.5% more than in 2021. The total number of mediated transactions was 5,770 last year, in line with the 2021 level.
The average value of the properties traded was 218 thousand euros, 11.9% more than the previous year, according to the company.
The company closed the year with 44 branches -double compared to 2021, with openings in Madeira and Azores, the first launches outside the peninsula- and with 1,744 workers, 62.4% more.
According to Patrícia Santos, executive president of Zome, quoted in the statement, “this evolution is in line with our ambition to grow in Portugal, but also in Spain (…) we believe that, very soon, we will mark the milestone of 50 real estate hubs” says Patricia Santos.
